“Dear Dr. Choy, I just wanted to thank you all for making me feel so welcome at your office. I waited 2.5 years since I moved to BC to go to the dentist because I was nervous about finding a new dentist. I had nothing to worry about at your office! Dr. Choy, you were professional, friendly and efficient. Joji you were a tremendous help and welcoming. Anna you were warm and friendly your all are terrific! I look forward to being your patient for a very long time! “
We just moved to Vancouver and I needed a new local dentist. I have had a cleaning and a filling done with Dr. Caroline McKillen at the Aarm dental office on Cambie next to Best Buy, and can highly recommend her. I went in December 2015 for the cleaning and January 2016 to get the discovered filling done. The cleaning was done well, and gently enough not to irritate my sensitive teeth too much. When they found a cavity, they offered to take and show me a very clear picture. I don’t know why, but this helps somehow when you can see what obviously needs fixing in high resolution.
I’m not at my best when getting my teeth drilled, but Dr. McKillen was patient, understanding, but also efficient so once we got started, so I wasn’t in the chair for ages. Both the dentist and the hygienist/assistant were friendly and made the experience about as good as you can realistically expect when you need a filling. I found everybody to be friendly, and the dentist to be both friendly and skilled.
