Dental Appointments & Emergencies

Do you accept new dental patients?

1

Yes, we welcome new and emergency patients. We're open 6 days a week, often 12+ hours a day, with after-hours and Sunday emergency phone service. If your usual location can't see you, we'll help book you at another nearby office. Most of our patients come to us through referrals from existing patients, a reflection of the care we provide.

How many locations do you have in Vancouver?

2

We have 10 locations across Vancouver, open 6 days a week with after-hours and Sunday emergency care available.

How often should I visit the dentist?

3

See a dentist immediately for pain, swelling, lumps, or a dental injury like a broken tooth. Otherwise, we recommend a checkup every 6 months and x-rays annually. Patients with gum disease may need more frequent visits, typically every 3 to 4 months, depending on its severity and progression.

What should I do during a dental emergency?

4

Uncontrolled bleeding: Go to emergency or see a dentist immediately.

Knocked-out tooth: Find the tooth if possible, avoid touching the root, and store it in milk or a damp paper towel. Come in right away, as it may be re-implanted.

Chipped or broken tooth: Bring in the fragment if you can. We may be able to bond it back into place.

Tooth pain or a tooth that feels "high" in your bite: See a dentist right away, as this can indicate an abscess.

Sudden bite changes or unusual changes in gum, tongue, lip, or cheek colour/shape: Seek care immediately, as these can signal a serious issue.
